Grimsby & Cleethorpes MES commence rides for the public on Saturday 16th March at The Mill, Brigsley Road, Waltham, DN37 0JZ. The extensive track is adjacent to a fully restored and operational 19th century windmill and there is also a museum of rural life with free entry (voluntary donations appreciated) on the site. P S M E will have a static Exhibit at the Delaine Bus Museum, Running Day, on Saturday 27th April.

Location is 8 Spalding Road, BOURNE, Lincolnshire PE10 9LE.

Very sadly, for a variety of reasons, the Peterborough Society of Model Engineers has had to cancel the event at Railworld over Easter.

So the official naming of a loco, donated by the family of our late Secretary, has had to be postponed.

The next outing for the portable track will be at the Uffington Village Festival (Near Stamford) over 5th and 6th May.

The car is almost loaded ready for The Delaine Bus Museum, in Bourne, tomorrow, 27th April

May will be a busy month for us,

The portable track will be at the Uffington Village Fete, near to Stamford, over 5th and 6th May.

Then at the Market Deeping Model Railway Show, at the Welland Academy in Stamford, overr 11th and 12th May.

The following Saturday, 18th May, the portable track will be at the Oundle Vintage Day.

Then 8th and 9th June we shall be displaying at a 2 day Farm Open Day event at Park Farm, Thorney, near Peterborough.

6th JUly, we hope to be at the Eye Village Festival, near Peterborough.

13th JUly the portable track should be at the Bretton Festival, in Peterborough.

The final event will be the portable track and a static display at the “Wings ‘n Wheels” event at the Fenland Airfield at Holbeach St Johns, on Sunday 25th August.

Having had successful days with the portable track at Uffington, Stamford and yesterday, at Oundle, our next display will be at Park Farm, Thorney, near Peterborough, over 8th and 9th JUne.
