No, its a fact that our moon will eventually slow down and get closer to the earth, where upon gravitational forces  will break it up and earth will then be a ringed planet.

theres no reason to think the other planets are immune to this.
just because it always has doesn’t mean it always will.

to sum it in one word.

The energy for the solar system came from somewhere.Astrophysicists are still try finding out from where the energy originated-their best theory so far is that of the ‘Big Bang’.
The sun is not a perpetual source of energy either. As it exhausts its nuclear energy,it will swell to become a red giant star which will engulf the Earth, ending any life that might remain at that time. The sun will then collapse to a white dwarf star and slowly fade away.
Theres no such thing as a perpetual motion machine!

There may be no such thing as a perpetual motion machine, but energy generation is the new gold rush/industrial revolution for ther 21st century.

..and a more esoteric claim from Steorn here, claiming they get more energy out of a system than they put in: http://www.steorn.com/

The world was considered flat once.

Our sun also appears to be a perpetual power source.

Sorry, Not perpetual, just long lived by our standards but short lived by universal ones  It will go red giant and white dwarf in time (or is it the other way round, I can’t remember) then cool down to a ball of cold  material ready to be recycled.  And the planets will stop rotating and moving as the system collapses with the sun.  Sorry, no perpetual motion there.  Energy input still needed

                Dear oh Dear Alan,

I can’t beleive you’ve been fooled by this sort of claim.  They come up every so often and are then shown to b ae useless sham.  Remember the Australian ‘Joe engine’ of a few years ago.  if not, research it. another example of hope over reality.

the flatness of the world or otherwise has nothing to do with it, there are certain immutable principles on which the Universe operates and a mere man cannot change these despite his arrogance.

by the way I hope I’m proved wrong but I’m not holding my breath.
                Regards

About the only energy that appears to be perpetual is that generated by those who perpetuate their theories on perpetual motion.Ian S C

You will be claiming next that the Earth isn’t flat.
