Ladies/Gents,  does anyone have any drawings/manual for a 1960s Perfecto 3.5″ lathe? If you do would it be at all possible if I could get a copy? This is my first lathe and some guidance on this make would help. Tks.

          Hi Paul,

A good start is at lathes.co.uk try here:

this may be of some help.

I didn’t realise that the Perfecto was basically a Myford clone.  You live and learn!

          Regards,

Paul, I have a skip rescued Perfecto lathe that I am currently cleaning up. The “manual” if it can be called that is an A5 booklet with a single page of instructions and 2 pages of screw cutting charts. If you let me know your email address I’ll scan it and send it to you. There is a bit of information on Tony Griffith’s website http://www.lathes.co.uk.(looks like Terry beat me to that)

              Hi Mark,

I wouldn’t mind a copy of the manual if you can share it.  I have a fascination for collecting such ephemera.  Let me know if we can barter!

I have a copy of a Harrison M300 manual which I would gladly scan and share with anyone interested, although it may take some time as I am very busy at the moment with the old multi headed dragon, work.  Somewhere I also have early Boxford School CNC lathe and milling Manuals which may be of interest to anyone in the second hand market.

              Regards

              Terry

                Paul, you have mail.
Terry if you let me know your email address I will send the scan to you. Unless there is a way of me posting a PDF here?
