Can any owners of a Pansy or other loco with slide valves below the cylinder please advise what sort of cylinder drain cocks (if any) are fitted. Would automatic ones work?

In a similar vein where have you fed in the cylinder lubricant?

        Many thanks.

        Bruno.

This is the arrangement of the lubricator

As for the drain cocks they would need to be in the end covers, but as far as I can see there was no provision made for them in the original design.

The Princess of Wales design has a single, manually operated draincock centrally in the front face of the steam-chest. This is the lowest point and where condensate would collect.
