      Hi Mogens,

Your engine is looking good. Is it steel or cast iron you are using? It looks very dark.

An piston valves running direct in the block? Do you use glands for the valve spindles?

      Neil

          Hi Neil

I have used mild steel and brass for the parts of my engine.

The steam valves is round slide valves, as I’m running the engine on air I have not been concerned aobut glands around the slide valve rods, the air will simply escape in front and back section of the slide valve rods.

I’m having some problem in the timing of the valves, so I’m having a minor break in the project, just to maintain a good spirit, for the moment I’m working on an “Air Brush Painter”

          Regards
          Mogens
