Hi,

I am trying to find information, drawings and finishing of a Barge first published in Model Engineer in December 1963 Vol 129 ( 3239 ). It was first televised by the BBC in March 1964, the designer was Oliver Smith. The BBC gnome, were unable to assist me. Can anyone help please.

Finishing information to complete the build is not shown on the drawings can anyone help with this please.

I don't know whther you're still interested in this but I've got one. I remember watching the YV programme in the 1960s and it was built for me at the time. It's been stored in an attic for many years so is looking rather shabby: the sails are rotten and it needs re-rigging but it's otherwise intact and presumably still seaworthy, although it hasn't had its feet wet in sixty years.

I've put a couple of photographs in the gallery under my name but if you would like any more detailed photographs or measurements please get in touch.
