Oil cups

Hi All

Anybody out there who can recommend an oil gun /pump that works on the little spring loaded cups found on Harrison/Colchester lathes.

I have two oil pumps in my armoury one is a (Colchester supplied pump) the other an old vintage car oil pump i believe, neither seem to generate enough pressure to unseat the ball and pump the oil through, probably pass there sell by date now, so i bought a couple different ones from Ebay and neither of them with do the job either.

Yep i have checked and cleaned the fittings and the balls pop open when pushed down with a small punch, using thin oil but even tried thicker oil nothing seems to work.

Its a right pain in the behind and theres got to be some solution to oiling the machine, anybody had the same issues and sorted out a workable oil gun or have a recommendation!!

I use a Reilang, (They come in three sizes, I think ) The nozzle was a little large, so it was removed and tapered down a little. It was GREAT improvement on the genuine Myford oil gun, so did not go with the ML7.

Firm pressure opens the ball oilers and gives a good seal to inject oil, (sufficient to force oil out of the bearings for the Leadscrew and Power Feed shaft on my Far Eastern lathe )

it may seem to be a little expensive, but is entirely satisfactory for my use. So value for money as far as I am concerned.
