I think the idea it to assist anyone trying to take a shot in the dark.

Anyway it was gone this morning and I was told to look out for the battery cover which flew down stairs and not to let the dog eat it.

I suspect this story hasn't ended yet…

I am sure it already has one fitted and it would be interesting to see which one it was, but since its mysterious disappearance.

I had hygiene reservations and as the distaff side tend to be more concerned about such things, I suspect the poor device may have ended up on skid row…

By the way, is it true that the receptacle in question doesn't have a proper name? That is 'Toilet', 'Lavatory', 'Powder Room', 'Washroom', 'Khazi', 'Bog', 'Dunny' are all euphemisms, polite or otherwise?

Given that much of the world is content to use 'Hoover' to describe any vaccuum cleaner … Perhaps 'Crapper' is the obvious choice.
