Would there be any possibility from time to time, of devoting a couple of pages of MEW, to non Myford and non mini Lathes.OK i realise that a lot of the readership owns Myford and or Mini Lathes, but there must be many readers like me who don’t own a Myford, through choice, not financial considerations.
Please don’t get me wrong i don’t want to knock Myford Lathes i think the Myford is a brilliant piece of kit,(a good one that is ) It’s just that i prefer my slightly larger Raglan Little John, which is also a brilliant piece of kit.

          Hi Don

I agree, older machine tools are excellent value and in my opinion often out-perform some other well-known machines favoured by many model engineers.

But it seems we might be in a minority here!

            Hi Don
Perhaps you would like to offer some articles on your Raglan Little John.
I can only publish what I receive and almost all are Myford or Mini-Lathe.
            regards David

              Hi Bob

Yep,definitely in the minority. Is it possible to run a club with only two members?

Hi David,Thanks for the kind reply.I thought i was going to get some flak on that.
I have recently completed a full strip and rebuild with new motor and inverter setup,on the Mk 2 Little John. But a journalist i am not. Also if you can get a comment or two on YOUR!! article,I have got no chance, and you would be inundated with complaints that would fill “Scribe a Line” for two months.

                  Hi Don
None of the contributors are journalists.
You should see some of the articles before I attack them.

One contributor even has learning difficulties but his article turned out fine and he is submitting another.

Go on, give it a go.
Write it uop as though you are telling a friend how to do what you did.
We pay £50 for every page printed in the magazine.
You could easily earn £150 or more.
                  regards david

                    Hi David
I must say that your reply about me doing an article on my lathe has given me something to think about. As it’s getting colder in the Workshop now,i may have the time to do it.

                                                        Regards
                                                              Don
