Hello , my father was an avid steam train model maker , he sadly passed away 6 years ago and it’s only now I’ve managed to go 8nto his shed to start clearing it , upon doing this I’ve found hundreads and hundreads Of model engineer magazines. What would be their worth ? Are they collectible ? Are they something people want / need ?..

Hi Chrissy. Sorry to hear of your fathers passing. You could advertise the mags here in our for sale section. Maybe put them in order and in yearly batches to keep cross mag articles together. As for worth, probably not very much unless they are mint condition. You can advertise any machinery & models etc here also. If he was a member of a club you could maybe ask help from a member who knew him to help sort out the shed.

          Good luck. regards

Hi Thankyou for your reply , I’m going to put all his magazines in order and go from there , all his machinery and steam engines have been sent to a team museum which was his n his will , in his shed I have found various tins of *stuff * carborundum being one of them , the smell of it takes me back fifty years to when I used spend time with my father in his shed , good memories
