Just a heads up, I spotted this new series starting this week. It should be of interest to quite a few members of the forum.

Yes, may well be useful If they are using Onshape Martin

He narrows his CAD choice to parametric CAD systems, decides Solid Works is too expensive, FreeCAD too buggy and Fusion 360 too restrictive. I waited with bated breath for his view on Solid Edge (the other parametric CAD system listed) – but then he just announced he was choosing Onshape, which he's used a lot apparently and likes.

So back to the usual "this is what I know, so this is what I prefer" argument. Perfectly fine, it's what most people do when they've invested time learning a particular CAD systems.

But as someone once said 'Opinions may vary'

          Regards,

One of the reasons I don't use Onshape is it might not always have a "free to use" option in the future. At least Solid edge does.
