        Hi Everybody

I have a Kerry 1324 lathe (I made a 3 phase converter for it years ago),

A Pultra Lathe (which I rebuilt but do not use),,a Milling Machine and lots of Tools etc.

I tend to use the Kerry and Mill to make things to use in my workshop.

I machine the hard wood from the crates that the Indian Stone I had for my patio was delivered in.. It can be turned , tapped and milled. I make things in wood before making them in metal.

I have not made any Models.

At present I am trying to make a Collet holder so that I can use some of the special Pultra Collets in my Kerry. I have ER32 collets that I use so making the Pultra collet blocks is just something to past the time.

          Welcome to the Forum!

You are not alone, I am not a model maker (Too little skill ) so make tools for the workshop.

Really a hybrid between a bodger (No disrespect to the wood turners! ) and a very amateur general engineer.

Many on here restore classic cars or motor cycles, machines, instruments or make clocks.

The variety is what makes the Forum so interesting and informative.

              Welcome Guy

There are always threads on here which will be of interest and contain something worth knowing, even if not of immediate use.

As we all say "It'll come in handy one day"
