        hello from the north east, new to machining, learning to use my sx2.7l mini mill and amabl210 lathe, and finding a lot of good advice here (thankyou).

        no specific area of interest yet, although making adaptors and bits for my amateur radio stuff and trying to make some of the tools and clamps as suggested by some of the YouTube folks, but mostly just enjoying acquiring new skills at the moment and sweeping up the amazing mess a mini mill makes.

            Hi steve & welcome. I did my City & Guilds 2metre Ham exam many years ago. Never did the main one as was no good at morse code. Do they still require morse in the exam.

              thanks Brian and Steve, no, no Morse code needed now (although it is gaining in popularity slowly) .
