        Hi all,

I am a new member, joining to try and find a new home for my late father's workshop and make a little cash for mum's gas bill!! Dad was a model engineer subscriber for many years and so I think I am in the right place.

He used to make all sorts, including model steam loco's etc, but latterly mainly clocks.

There is quite a lot of stuff to shift, some of which I don't know what it is!

I will be trying to add a lathe and bench mill to the classified section ASAP.

        Thanks,
        Andy

welcome, even under the sad condition you must be in.

If he was a member of a local ME club they may be able to assist.

if you give your location it’s likely that a local forum member could visit and help identify what is there and give you an idea of values.

                Hi All,

Thanks for the contact and helpful suggestions. He was a member of a local club a long time ago, I'll see if I can dig out a contact for them.

Mum is in Brockworth, near Gloucester. If there are members local who would like to come and take a look that would be great. We have two bench mills (one in classified already), a Boxford lathe, and a "wartime" pillar drill which is solid as a rock. Also, lots of measuring kit and accessories.

                Thanks again,

                Andy
