New member – garage tinkerer

Hello all,

Unfortunately I don’t have room for a lathe in my small garage and still miss the Harrison 140 I learnt on at school (al long time ago) and I  still have the steam engine I made at school, largely on the Harrison.

However, I do have 3 motorbikes and a car, which I maintain myself, and have room for a workbench with a vice and have recently bought a Fobco star pillar drill which is definitely a project!

Looking forward to talking shop with you all.

Hello and welcome; for future use/assistance, it might be an idea to add your rough location to your bio.
Even just down to a country/county, might affect the advice given if you’re seeking something.
Curious, what’s the bikes; LeMans, XT600, 750 Bonneville, & 900 GTS Ducati on my part.
