New member – garage tinkerer

Hello all,

Unfortunately I don’t have room for a lathe in my small garage and still miss the Harrison 140 I learnt on at school (al long time ago) and I  still have the steam engine I made at school, largely on the Harrison.

However, I do have 3 motorbikes and a car, which I maintain myself, and have room for a workbench with a vice and have recently bought a Fobco star pillar drill which is definitely a project!

Looking forward to talking shop with you all.

Hello and welcome; for future use/assistance, it might be an idea to add your rough location to your bio.
Even just down to a country/county, might affect the advice given if you’re seeking something.
Curious, what’s the bikes; LeMans, XT600, 750 Bonneville, & 900 GTS Ducati on my part.

Welcome to the Forum.

Not even a small lathe, such as a mini?

Pity.

You would find it such a help in either making parts, or tools to help maintain your bikes and car.

But of you need any help, just ask!  There is bound to,be someone on hers who can help.

Possibly, someone near you might be able to help
