Hi Adrian,

If you look at Lathes UK website, there may be pictures of mini lathes in the Unknown lathes section. There do not seem to be any listings for the manufacturers listed below.

They may look the same, (apart from paint job ) but will have been made by different manufacturers, and will differ in minor respects. These could be such things as the size of key/keyway for the change gears, or the relationship of a prismatic bedway to the spindle axis.

By modifying the internal stops, (Which appeared to have been angle grinder finished ex work! and using longer adjusting screws, I adapted a quick release Tailstock to fit onto a Sieg manufactured mini. )..

The three manufacturers who spring to my mind are Sieg, Real Bull, or Weiss. Machines made by these companies are imported to UK by different vendors.
