Hi, new here, I have a Super 7 and a Chester mill which I am learning to use mainly by making mistakes. Not an engineer by trade but do have a mechanical back ground. Just completed a small Rotary engine so will try and write a build thread at some time.

Hello David and welcome. Without being too specific, whereabouts in the world are? I ask because sometimes people ask for help and it's no good someone from Birmingham (England) offering to help if you are in Australia!

Is it stationary engines that you are interested in or are you also thinking of other things?

Hi , I am near Manchester UK , no specific interest , just like the idea of making something and metal work. I do enjoy Steam rally's and Steam Trains but I think the cost and machinery are a bit beyond me as far as making a scale model one.
