Hi guys, new member here, Ian Steele and I live in East Yorkshire.

I have a garage/workshop that houses a Harrison 5la lathe and an Alexander milling machine,  I built a Stuart beam engine for a GCE A level just over 50 years ago and when work didn’t get in the way have been building model stationary engines since. I’m currently rescuing a twin cylinder compound engine. Looking forward to seeing what other members are up to.

Hi Everybody,

The 30 Year Old 2HP MOTORUN Phase Converter is now working better than it had been for years, It now makes no Humming noise like it used to. I have not tried it on my Lathe yet. I tested it on this old Bench Grinder.

I have made a little Video, hope you can see it. I just have to get it back in a case now.
