My wife bought this at a Christmas market the other day, it took me a second or two to figure out what it was made of….. chocolate and decent 70% cocoa chocolate at that.

What will they think of next.

            Hi Dave,

I assume it came with a warning saying " May contain nuts"!!!

            Regards, Martin.

Probably stronger than some I've come across.

the fit wasn't great, I half considered taking a file to it but thought that it wouldn't change the taste.

You must be nuts to start a thread like this – you could have kept it all for yourself but now you've screwed it up and we all know. Just make sure that you don't bolt it all down before we join you!

                    Metric or Imperial?

The Imperial ones are made with non-milk fat, but I find they taste better,

Don't mention the UNC/UNF ones turned from Hershey Bar.

(There was a move in Europe (not by the EU) to have British chocolate re-branded as 'vegelate' but sanity won, presumably as 'chocolate' is the word we have for what we eat in the UK, however it's made).

I once bought a 6 inch adjustable spanner made of chocolate for my father in a chocalate shop in France. So that my mother was not left out I bought some chocolate coffee beans. Some days later she said will you have a look at my coffee grinder it is all blocked up and those coffee beans were all soft so I threw them away. We still laugh about it now. Also the spanner was just as expensive as a bahco spanner.

Is it a BCT thread form? It looks about 1/2 inch dia, so should be 26 tpi British Chocolate Thread of course. (or should that be COARSE !!)

Apologies to the British Cycle Thread communities.

It might B A while before they make the smaller threads

With those luscious little flanks and their hexy little heads

But if you think that small is beautiful – and true

Just keep your eye on Thorntons for a perfect chocolate screw.

Do coconut or almonds or Hazel nuts count as inclusions or re enforcing?

Now you have a pattern. You could make a few more, then build a chocolate engine. Now THAT would be a model to enter for a show
