I was a Forum subscriber years ago but when employment was in use the hobby took second place, now that employed life has been completed I’m free to do as I please (within the bounds of SWMBO’s rules).

So the question is  – what to do at the Mens Shed equipped with an old donated metal lathe?

So many things will need to be made at the Shed. This week we needed a knob (being 3D printed instead), modify two Whitworth coach bolts to customise head,  BSW nuts and bolts always needed. Will need some different sizes of adaptors when we work out what the thing is that seems to take one.

With a lathe there is/are a multiude of things that can be made, depending on the size of the machine, and the accessories with it. The limit is set by your imagination.

Just look at ME and MEW to see the things that have been made. Models, tools, repairs carried out.
