Hi All,

Just joined (as per usual cos I am looking for a bit of advice!)

Marine engineer by trade but spend a lot of time in my workshop messing with stuff..

Colchester Student (after full overhaul), Bandsaw, drill press, mig and tig etc etc, the usual stuff.

Although I'm not really into model engineering in a big, way just cos something is smaller can often mean a little more skill required to build the thing so plenty of knowledge here

Hi Taf welcome to the forum. Wish I had a Colchester and looking for a mig welder. My dad was Taf from Mountain Ash. There are loads of tooling as well as small and large models on here perhaps you can give a little guidance on here as well.

There are still a few cells rattling round up top here so anything I can add for anyone is most welcome!

I was planning to give a bit of a write up on the Tig I bought about 6 months or so ago, for anyone that might be thinking about one.. For a chinesium import I'm pretty impressed.. its a Sherman Digitig 200 AC/DC Multipulse.
