Finally got around to making a glass dial for the Murday clock I made a couple of years ago. I also added a 'new' base which I thought looked better.
This isn't a wall clock, it's just the photo orientation! I thought I had better mention it first

I rather like the idea of a Murday Clack.
How is it driven?

Steam of course. Hence the clack.
Of course if you could hear it running, you might think otherwise! It is a bit noisy.

That's beautiful. I have it in my mind that either ME or MEW has promised an article on a variation of the Murday which dispenses with the electro-mechanical drive in favour of electro-magnetic, but I can't find any reference. Am I imagining it?
