Could you enlarge on the problems you had with UCCNC please Peter?
Just couldn’t get it to communicate with the mill. Even with importing the Mach 3 .xml configuration file. That was why I phoned CNC4U in the first place. The guy there was very helpful telling me how to get Mach 3 running. You need the .net 3.5. Also getting the right driver for the UC100. (download from CNC4U’s website.)
My old licence still works and as a bonus so does the screen I’ve always used so I don’t have to learn anything new.
CNC4U’s service was excellent. I took a long time to get anything from UCCNC – nearly a day for the licence to come through.
