Although a feature of many PCs for years, not everybody seems to have found out the following.

Your mouse does need to have a scroll wheel that can be pressed as a button (“3 or 5 button mouse”). This can be used to open each browser link as a separate new tab. So with a slow website, simply go through thus clicking each post that is of interest. You can structure doing this to cover all the topics that you follow. By the time you have designated them all, the first ones will be available for immediate viewing.

      Much less frustrating!

Or just right-click on the links and select “Open link in new tab” (or equivalent in other browsers).

        Good tip

And not forgetting holding Ctrl and scrolling the wheel to zoom in or out
