A year or so ago, there was a long thread about trying to establish the purpose of a mystery circular Calculator, since I cannot recall any specific term to search for I wonder if anyone who remembers it could post a link please.

I’m not sure whether during the course of the thread, the existence of a Dutch Slide Rule website that is showing pictures of mystery calculators and maybe a path to solving the riddle of the one might start there.

      Site is https://www.rekeninstrumenten.nl/Engels/mystery.htm

I believe this is the original thread, but it takes some finding
Forum search is basically broken for anything other than the first page of any search, but if you can find a broken link somewhere to the old forum, then archive.org is now back on-line following their recent problems.
That led me to here eventually

Which seems to translate to here

          WHAT IS IT ?

Further to the above, adding InVid fake news debunker as a browser extension, allows a drop down menu when  you right click a picture, showing a variety of reverse image searches

Which, amongst other places leads you to an old Reddit post

Thanks Bill and Michael. I will read through all the posts because I had a feeling that someone may have already suggested contacting the Dutch slide rule enthusiasts group. I have an slide rule that they helped me identify.

              This is their website https://www.rekeninstrumenten.nl/Engels/index.htm
