      Hello,
Here I am again with a question. I removed the clutch from my Myford Super 7. Not completely disassembled, but I did remove the thrust bearing. What struck me was that it contained grease, not oil. Now I’m wondering if this is really necessary. reassemble with grease. I thought it was just oil or am I wrong? So ask for the experts. I’ve done some searching here but can’t find the right information. I am a novice myferd user, maybe I am asking stupid questions, sorry about that.

I would think that if it has a feeder tube via a  nipple it will be oiled but if not the assembly is greased for a longer maintenance free life

The manual says the clutch thrust bearing is lubricated by surplus oil from the oilite bushes, so if you fill the oil cups occasionally, no grease necessary.
