What can the expets on here tell us about the artificially generated 50Hz as opposed to true sine wave ? I was led to believe that SOME true sine was needed to smooth the synthetic sine. Solar is DC at high voltage ! Wind is also DC ? How long before we all have a 5v and 12v DC supply in our houses to feed all the DC devices we now use/need ? Noel.
