        Ok, how?

Right then, I’ve uploaded a number of photos into one album titled, er, Photos. ((Not) Original thinking here you see.) I can create additional albums, but how do I transfer from one album to another? The only way I can see is to re-upload and delete the old.

Or perhaps I should abandon the existing and start a new album next time.

        Regards,

I can’t help with your query, but just in case you didn’t know, you should take care if you have previous forum posts with pictures that reference back to your album(s) here. Moving pictures from an album will cause that picture to be erased from your post too.

          Martin.

            Thanks Martin,

Looks like I’ll have to leave as is unless I can a) find the original thread they were posted on; and b) find the original photo out of the many thousands on my computer. In which case I could set up new albums, upload new photos, change the references, and then delete the old photos.

Hmm beginning to sound like too much work.

            Regards,

              Hullo Peter,
Sorry I cannot help with your request but have spotted something else – “many thousands” (of photos) on your `puter. Are you aware that should something go wrong like your `puter acquiring a bug nessitating the hard disc being wiped and re-installation of software, you would loose the lot? “Burn” them on to a re-writable CD for safe keeping. This would also free up a large space on your hard disc with other benefits such as speeding things up.

                Hi John,

Yes, I’ve got backups and I’ve got plenty of space – for now that is.

                Thanks anyway.

ps In fact, I really should devote some time to weeding out the rubbish because I ‘ve simply saved everything just as it came of the camera – including the oddities, the blurred, the over/under exposed etc etc etc. Trouble is, I’ve got too many other interests.
