Does anyone know where I can get some brushes to fit a Chester 16V Mill, Chester as usual have nothing in stock and every supplier i find on ebay etc don’t even have a size that’s close:

      16mm x 10mm x 3.5mm with a approx 1″ spring.

      Thanks

      Dave D.

Could try here as a starting point, reducing the cross section is easy enough with a coarse file if you take care to keep things flat and square, the wire can be shortened and resoldered to the old brass terminals. Good luck!

Thanks, I will give https://www.mrcarbonbrush.com/ a call, the ebay one is based in China so no delivery until November.

You may have looked at this Seller already, but I was very impressed with their handling of a recent purchase.

Is there a Warco model like your machine? that might be worth looking into as well.

Do take note that DC and AC motor brushes use different grades (hardness/softness).
