Something not quite on the level there me thinks. Very expensive gear. Avoid.
i can't see why he should be avoided. He has 48 pages of positive feedback.
Some one posted a link to all of the items he currently has listed. Tick completed listings and look what happened to the high value ones. You will see a short note from ebay near the top of the page.
If an item doesn't reach a sensible price he probably clears the bids and ends the item just before it ends.
Why do this sort of thing – fees and anyone who buys some of the items I noticed would probably go along and take a look first. When that happens if the item is any good the listing is very likely to end.
Yes, he's evading fees by breaching one of Ebay's listing policies, there must be no direct contact info in the listing. Doubt he'll be selling for mucn longer, Ebay really don't like this practice as it costs them money, especially as he's selling high value items.

Ebay prevent several things from appearing in their message service but not peoples addresses or phone numbers. For some reason they don't like email addresses. Never been sure why. Fee avoidance isn't all that uncommon but I doubt if ebay will do anything about it unless it gets very common. That's unlikely to happen due to the nature of most sales.
I don't think for a moment that Jim Bob is aware of what's happening…
He sells Mamod stuff if he's lucky he gets £10 for something…he's built up a good feedback
He somehow has given a hacker his password who has taken over his account and then listed 5 pages of very expensive goodies and all in different categories …cameras sewing machines technical equipment etc
Who would have 400 items like this for sale at anyone time?
All the goods are very high end and he leaves a carrot of contact by email to BIN
He will want payment by bank transfer and that's the last you would see of your money and certainly no goods
I have just e-mailed them and asked if I could buy the Parlec toolsetter for the 1200 £ and his preferred method of payment., as soon as he asks for bank details or anything else dodgy sounding he is being told exactly where to go. Although It could be genuine enough, but I very much doubt it.

This one is more than a bit blatant than usual though, the email address is not in a message it's actually in the listing, and I'm surprised Ebay haven't caught on to it this time. Could well be that the guy's Ebay account has been hacked, the items certainly don't fit in with their previous sales profile.
I fancy this one but wont bother bidding, The only way anyone could get it is to use the BIN (buy it now) option and I would only go up to £100, Many might go 10 times that.
Just think of the astro shots you could take with that Neil along with your 8" Tak apo.
Saves people messaging him and asking if he has a buy it now price as accepting that or an offer means the listing will end. Curiously I sold something like that yesterday. An offer via a message and collect for cash. The listed was ended as soon as it was clear it was going to be bought,
The only thing I don't like is the location. UK. Some not in UK's manage that some how and that can usually be spotted by delivery times. They may be in the UK but the item may not be. But he clearly sells a lot of things without any problem. Past sales for high value items – the listings end as no longer available. Ebay can't really stop people from selling something that is listed some where else. Some mention advertised some where else in listings at times,
