      @martinwalsh1
      I thought I would treat myself to a new digital micrometer
      so i bought myself a moore and wright 0-25mm
      the thing that suprised me was the price £80
      which was a lot cheaper than I expected
      are these mics still made in sheffield or are they Imported
      The quality is good
      I was just curious?

      Best Wishes Martin

          I cant answer for your mic but the digital calipers i had at work some years back are definately made in China and are absolute junk.
          Cost the earth comparitively and have no absolute zero. Caught me out on a weekly basis and was used to it.
          Far better from the likes of Aldi at a fiver.

          Personally i would only buy quick release Swiss or Mitutoyo IP66 or 67.
