Officially, "Geriatric" is anyone over the age of 60 years. Don't all put your hands up at once!

I used to think DC1 looked a bit plump, but now I realise it's due to the thick skin he's had to develop  since this website went live.

        Kwil,

Thanks for that tip. You can always learn something useful on this site, even if it has little to do with engineering in its wider form.

I'm an ocassional buyer of MEW and bought issue 201 in WH Smiths yesterday. There was a flyer advertising three issues £1.00 and there was a web address on it. Unfortunately between the shop and home it must have fallen out. Does anyone have the link and could post it?

            Hey Robbo

You Say :- "Officially, "Geriatric" is anyone over the age of 60 years. Don't all put your hands up at once! "

Is that because, if we did, our trousers would fall down?

                Thanks David.

Just got my copy of MEW down under in Oz and thought that it was an excellent read. Especially the articles on making your own counterbores and sharpening trolley.

I must say that I too found a lot to interest me in issue 201. Not necessarily things I want to make for myself, but a good read., and I'm waiting for 202 to read further episodes on some of the projects. My thanks to the contributors, and to the editor who chose their articles for publication.

In reply to my earlier post I found the flyer lying under the driver's seat in the car!

Here's the link to the three issues for a pound offer :-

You do not need to continue after the three offer issues. Full details on the flyer in WH Smiths copies if anyone wants to check on the terms.

                      Hi,

I am having trouble reading page ten of the digital issue, page 10. The start of engineering for beginners

It doesnt seem to focus? Is it a problem at my end or yours?

                      thanks

Page 10 is fine for me, perfectly in focus, even with my dodgy eyesight cheeky

                            Hi ASF,

The pages load as a low-res version first.

Perhaps its the Spamhaus cyber-attack causing slow loading? I had a page freeze whilst loading just now.

On the other hand, are you wearing beer-goggles

                            Neil
