      <p style=”text-align: left;”>Hi</p>
Some time ago I had drawings for a mini propane regulator that fitted directly to the end of a gas can

I can’t find them anywhere, can anyone point me to where I can buy a set?

      Thanks

      Dougie

I have  PDF drawings for a small regulator that uses Tecumsch carburettor parts, if that’s the one your thinking about

Takes the fun out of making it yourself, but these are available on Ebay for just a few pounds – recently bought one for testing a friend’s steam engine and it worked fine.

Dougie are you after a demand regulator which is what Michael’s is or simply a flow regulator and also what type of “can” Sounds more like a propane/butane mix camping gas type cylinder in which case I’m with The Cowboy and use the ones from ebay, the small stove burners they often can be bought with are good for heating hot air engines.

Jason got there first ! PROPANE ? Or a low pressure gas mix ? Propane, you are looking at a bottle pressure of 150psi, not to be treated lightly ! Noel.

                Thanks for the replies

                The one I made previously was a 3/4″sqare body with a 7/16 x 28 thread

It screwed directly onto the top of the campung gas cans and had a neoprene diaphragm, I used it to supply gas to my “old bill” engine

                Thanks

Camping Gaz butane has no regulator

That is why you have to make one.
