Due to a PC crash I have had to reload Microsoft Mail (The Blue square)

Do I have to do anything to get the emails to load? I am on TalkTalk and have access to TalkTalk web mail, which has no emails .

If not already done so you need to 'open 'an account put in your email address and password this should be enough for MS mail to find your account, however there are times when you need to put in the server details. The only other thing I can suggest google set up talktalk email on MS mail

          hope this helps

I added Google gmail and that appears but no TalkTalk emails. I cannot find how to invoke talktalk at all?

Does this webpage help? Scrolling down reveals a table of service names, port numbers and encryption options for connecting an email client to talktalk.

I'm not familiar with Microsoft's client, but it should have a configuration setting section. Usually, these only require the user to add an new account by entering the email address and password, after which it auto-detects and fills in the correct values.

However, if auto-detect fails, there should also be an 'Advanced' option that allows the user to manually type in the values provided by TalkTalk above.

Look as I might I cannot find, 'File'. anywhere in the Microsoft mail. Lots of other stuff but no setup place, I do understand I have to set parameters to get emails.

Thank you for lads for helping me on this.
