Must thank Geoff Andrews for the inspiration of this mod.

Probably the only thing I don't love about my darling Logan is the 'ancient tech' top slide, and I've been foraging endlessly for how best to bring it into 21c functionality. By Jove, I think you've done exactly what I was looking for!

I must say, I'm particularly impressed with the tapered swivel that looks like it will claw up every ounce of rigidity, while providing an incredibly flexible platform functionally.
