Hi guys!
Does anyone out there ever read about Barry Gordon’s work? His articles appeared in MEW some years back. He was well known for his reproduction of a scale down working Bridgeport miller which was made mainly from cast iron billets. I hope to get a scan copy as I’m now building a scale down working Deckel type miller…just wanted to know his workstages and methods as a guide to follow.
Appreciate inadvance, once my miller is done and tested…you guys will catch a glimpse of my home made tabletop -knee mill which is rare. Most tabletop millers in the market are bed mill type.

ps. so much talk about this decline interest in model-making, I support you guys whether young or old to carry on. I’m 46yrs old, had a fair share, once a toolroom machinist in the 80s. Let’s march on guys!
