Metric Engines

I picked an old ME Vol 196, no 4265 and spotted a lovely model steam engine design that uses no castings by Guenter Kallies that has been designed in metric took me quite by surprise are there others ? is there a list somewhere of metric designs I know of Jan Ridders marvellous original designs but no semi scale period designs

I found the aforementioned series in 4265 but issue 4275 is missing and therefore Part 5 of the article is missing any idea where it has gone?

Those Alians are long gone, the mags have been missing for several years, They must be at teh bottom of a very deep and dark hole. Look back and you will find a few posts looking for them.

I'm not aware of any lists of engines in metric but there are plenty about if you put the work into looking for them

Most of Anthony Mount's designs are metric or dual metric/Imperial

Our own Stew Hard mast have half a dozen metric designs

Julius De Waal muist have close on 100 different engines all in metric, just a shame they are all on the one sheet

Plenty of others to be found in Europe if you don't mind a bit of German, French or Italian.

Failing that its easy enough to convert to imperial or justy make them a bit bigger using 1/32" = 1mm
