It could be a fair bit better, I have a lot to learn. It's all one 'part' rather than being an assembly. I may try and print it, but it will have to be broken down into parts.
The annular intake was devised by Dr Sghard Hoemer were originally on a design with straight wings and extra wingtip engines (In have an article here…). It had a nose cannon and a stereo periscope for the prone pilot!
The third version had conventional tail feathers and side intakes near the trailing edge… makes a Lockheed shooting star look old-fashioned! They all only exist as sketch plans, but the last two have nose-mounted cannon.
Barrie – subscriptions are cheaper but we prefer having regular readers! I used to get Aeromodeller in the days when it was the last fading bastion of free flight.
