Would it be possible for members to get an indication of new mail messages when they login?

You have to go and look for new messages in the inbox- there may be quite a few people who have messages waiting who do not know about the service.

Just found one tonight that was three days old, some forum software sends you an email or you get a message box up when you open the site.

If you look at the “My Account” box top left it will show any new messages against the “My messages” line, no need to go looking for them.

 

Also if you go to the bottom item on that list “My Account” you will get the option to tick a box for e-mail notification when a new message is sent

Fortunatly there was a nice number when I went looking for it! so thank you both  for pointing that out. But no message no number so you don’t know  without being told!  Perhaps a quick user guide to the facilities would be useful – it’s probably right under my nose at this very moment?

Louis, if you scrol down the page you will see " get in touch" as one of the Red headings on the right of the page. The link at the bottom will take you to how to contact the subscription department regarding your digital access question.
