In case you’re not fixed up yet, I have vol. 134 no. 3340 and vol. 135 no. 3367. Second class UK postage £1.00 plus a donation to the Forncett Industrial Steam Museum here in south Norfolk. (Every little helps!)

I’ve got over 500 other spare copies of the ME, some back to the 1930s, if anyone else would like some in return for support for a good cause:-

As well as the full size engines, there’s a lovely collection of historic models on display. It’s the residue of the HO Clark collection, built up before the Second World War and often mentioned in ME in the 1940s.

(I plead guilty to blatant advertising for a lovely, friendly and enthusiastically run little museum.)

I have got my late farther’s collection of Model Engineer that I am seeking to sell. The run goes from 1929 to 1983. It is largely complete from 1947 and also in years 1930/31/32/36/37/38/39/40

 

If you are interested I will accept any sensible offer for the complete collection hoping to sell it intact.
