        Hello Everyone,

I'm moving my workshop (and family) from Staffordshire to Suffolk. The family aren't too much of a problem, but my machine tools are a different story.

I can probably manage the smaller stuff (less than a ton). However, does anyone know a reasonable machine mover who may be able to help transport the larger items (1 – 2 tons). There are 3 vertical millers, a horizontal miller, a lathe, radial arm drill, surface gringer, and a 6'x4' granite table.

        Many thanks,

        Bill

Have a look on homeworkshop "Landylift" seems to be good here though a bigger lorry may be better with the amount you have.

            Hello JasonB,

            Thank you for your reply.

I've just spoken to Steve at Landylift. Unfortunately, he would have to make too many runs, so would be uneconomic.

So any other suggestions/recommendations greatly appreciated.

            Many thanks,

            Bill
