With my new setup (see topic New Computer?) I had a problem with the Windows Task Bar covering the bottom line of the Mach3 screen. I tried using Auto Hide Task Bar but as soon as you get anywhere near it it comes back. Then I found this to set up a hot key to remove the bar. It works well and I thought it might be of use to others.

Good idea, Peter, thanks. I had similar problems with a particular program having its ‘OK‘ button for a particular process hidden by the (Windows 10) taskbar at the bottom of the screen, so I moved my taskbar to the right hand side, vertically. Took a few days to get used to it, but now just as easy as the traditional standard placement.

If you right-click on the taskbar in an ’empty’ area, you get  a drop-down menu with ‘Taskbar settings‘ at the bottom, left-click this and then you can choose ‘Taskbar location on screen‘.

I took a different path when I started using a large screen, I modified the Mach3 screen to suit my work style and filled the screen with the things I use most so that I stay on one screen for nearly all of the things I do.
