Have a Tom Senior M1 miller, believed later model ,as the power feed quill from the g/box on the column side to the table feed goes straight into the back of the table not to a separate gear with it’s engagement lever on the RHS.

Need to know how to fill the table reservoir with oil, it’s very low in the sight glass, as nothing obvious as to how to fill it.

      Any advice appreciated.

      Cheers

Good evening Graham,    I have a similar machine and get oil to the table gear through (or over) the end cover of the saddle (right hand end of course).  I usually wind the table as far to the right as possible, remove the two bolts securing the handle and push the table further as far as possible.  It is just possible to see the oil level inside with a torch.  I say this because I will have to “degunge” the sight level om my M1as it is blocked at the bottom.  This is, as far as I know, the only possible way to get oil into this part of the miller.  Hope that this helps.

Sorry about the repeated postings…  As you will read on my second attempt, the table should be moved to the left looking at the M1 from the front..
