I support the change to making long articles run in alternate issues.

It makes the content much more varied and lets a wider range of ideas and means that more authors get in print. I really enjoyed Ray’s writing, but I did wish to see more variety from time to time.

My heart sank a bit at the thought of TWO new locomotive series starting at the same time, but I lightened up a bit when I saw that not one, but both were not GWR tender locomotives!Indeed, both subjects were different enough to raise an eyebrow.

Also I enjoyed Terence Holland’s Yarrow Boiler series, so look forwards to some good ‘coarse engineering’ tips

Of course, just to be contrary, we ‘did’ the Talyllyn the weekend before last, the staff were wonderfully helpful, I got some fun video and pictures, and now I’m pondering if I should make a narrow guage loco…

          Hi There
The Fairlie will be every other issue.
The Guiness will be further apart.
          regards David
