          They obviously used the same translatiom service which described a hydraiulic ram as a “water buffalo”!

          Many years ago, a german made desk pencil sharpener came with instructions sayimg “Sharp points upon pencils unobjectional are”.

          Was it Gerard Hoffnung who quoted a Swiss or German hotellier as saying “In bath I am poor, but in bed I am superb”?

          Good for a laugh!

                    Not “lost in translation” as such but this warning complete with exclamation-marks, printed on the side of a small battery I saw today, seems to present practical difficulties:

                    Fire Hazard! Not for vapes! Do not install, carry or handle!
