In Issue 4451 the camshaft is shown as a piece of 6mm dia silver steel with one end reduced to 5mm dia.
However the Camshaft gear and camshaft rear bearing are both shown with a 6.4mm bore which is a little on the slack side. There is also no bore stated for the cams
Should the camshaft have been 1/4" (6.35mm) diameter or should the other parts be machined a running fit on metric Silver steel?
Its probably one of those cases of make it to whatever silver steel you have to hand but don't want anyone making the mistake of runing a 6.4mm bore on a 6mm shaft.
