      Hi

8 quid, alloy, including 2 soft jaws, 2 dozen drills and 10, possibly, carbide cutters

Not magnificent, but for the price, disposable for a one off job.

The LIDL bench vice, mounted on a ball joint is not very good, if mine is anything to judge by..

The locating square on the base is "As cast" and needs tom be cleaned up.

The ball m,is definitely tough. I ended up making and fitting a new ball.

All this work improved the vice a lot, I am happy to say..

Some time ago, MEW published an article on improving this type of vice.

Got to be worth it for the drills!
