        There's a great moonrise happening in Gloucestershire at time of posting – just breaking over the horizon to ? N of E, huge and exactly the colour of a pumpkin..

              No image is visible on my Win10/Firefox system. If I click on Images/Usage of Images and Videos I get the following error message…

                        I'm on an astrophotography holiday at the moment, although the weather has not been kind at all!

                        I managed to add to my Jupiter collection this evening.

                        RGB + a percentage of an IR as 'luminance'. My ASI 178MM camera and 150PL scope. I tend to more subtle colour these days rather than maxing the contrast, less spectacular but closer to what you would see through a telescope.

                          It is quite astonishing how far amateur astrophotography has come in my brief time.
