Jumble? Bring & Buy? Swap? at Harrogate Show?

Not sure if this is a daft question but I have not been to the Harrogate show before and I was wondering whether there is an area where individuals can buy and sell (and donate) their own parts and tooling etc?

I recently went to a vintage radio rally and they have a small stall where people can deposit stuff, put a price on it, and if it sells the society take a percentage. The donate bit is if you want the stand to sell your stuff and keep the money for the club or organisations benefit.

The only rule in force at the radio rally was that unsold kit had to be taken away rather than being left as a problem for the organisers!

I've been to a few Harrogate shows, and there's no "bring and buy" stall. As I recall, there are only one or two traders selling second-hand gear.

I agree that it would be a popular feature, but (unlike most radio shows) the exhibition is run by a commercial organisation rather than a club or society. So there would be difficulties over manning a bring and buy stall, and paying "The Management" for it..

There are many steam rallys where this happens so we are not short of this type of venue, The ME show is not a car boot event.
