        JPEG 2000 has been around for years, the clue is in the name. You should just be able to click on it unless you're running an old operating system without installing any other software. What OS are you using?

          Neil,

          I understand that your problem is solved, but: For the benefit of future visitors to this thread, I will just note that Preview.app in Mac OS X [which I mentioned earlier] does that conversion,and much more, fuss-free.

          • open the JP2 file in Preview
          • save as JPG
          • [there's no need to change filename]
